The North Lincoln High School DECA club sponsored a
"Black Out Child Abuse" event to inform area schools and
the community of the harsh repercussions of child abuse
and how easy it can be to educate those around us of the
signs. For the week of January 23rd through January
27th, they sold wristbands and t-shirts at North Lincoln
and Lincolnton High School in hopes of educating fellow
students of child advocacy.
The week culminated with a basketball game against
Lincolnton High School. All proceeds went to sponsor the
items for a playroom in the Lincoln County Child
Advocacy Center to accommodate teens/young adults with
more advanced entertainment such as technology. |
